The Automaton Economy (Part 4): The Political Framework for a World After Work

Following the design of our hybrid economic engine in Part 3, this article addresses the critical question of governance. How do we control a system of such immense power? In Part 4 of "The Automaton Economy," I propose a multi-layered political framework of AI-augmented deliberative democracy. It features an AI administrative layer for efficiency, a legislative layer combining liquid democracy and futarchy for popular control, and a powerful AI Ethics Council to act as a "human firewall," ensuring the system always serves humanity.
